I am a fully qualified, traditional Five Element acupuncturist working in quiet and relaxing clinics in Rye, Hastings and Bexhill-on-Sea.

I graduated from The Acupuncture Academy and was awarded a Distinction for their Professional Licentiate in Acupuncture, which is a three year degree qualification accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation Board.  My training was extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medical and acupuncture theory, with a focus on the Five Element approach.

Five Element (also known as Wu Xing or the five phases) is an ancient school of acupuncture in which the focus of treatment is for the body, mind and spirit to regain balance or achieve a more balanced state. In other words it treats YOU, not just your symptoms, so the cause of the illness is addressed by considering the physical, mental and emotional areas of a person’s health. This means that I will treat you on an individual basis, considering your main health problem together with any root causes, to improve your overall wellbeing – mind, body and spirit.

I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council and adhere to the Council’s Codes of Safe Practice and Professional conduct. British Acupuncture Council members are also registered with the Professional Standards Authority which is a government body set up to regulate health and social care providers, and is accountable to Parliament.

My clinic is licensed by the local authority, and I hold full medical malpractice and public/products liability insurance cover.
